On July 24, the Branch Forum of the School of Electronics and Information Engineering for the 14th Shenzhou Forum for Outstanding Young Scholars of Harbin Institute of Technology was held in Conference Room 230 of the Main Building. Four distinguished scholars from home and abroad were invited to deliver academic presentations. Wang Yi, Party Secretary of the School, department heads and faculty representatives attended the forum.
On behalf of the school, Wang Yi extended a warm welcome to the young scholars. He gave a systematic introduction to the school covering its development history, discipline development, scientific research and innovation, faculty echelon construction and talent training system, and sincerely invited outstanding young scholars to join the School of Electronics and Information Engineering.
Young scholars from world-renowned universities including Technische Universität Dresden (Germany), Delft University of Technology and City University of Hong Kong delivered thematic reports on cutting-edge research in information and communication technologies. Their research covered multi-domain collaboration and performance optimization for low-altitude networks, beyond far-field wireless communication, low-latency transmission technologies for mission-critical aerospace services and other frontier areas. Participating faculty engaged in in-depth academic exchanges and discussions with the visiting scholars regarding the presentations.
The forum served as a vital communication platform linking the school with outstanding young scholars worldwide.
